We are a charitable organisation working to kickstart the lives of vulnerable children in Kenya through locally-led sustainable development.
Key Principles
Kickstart Kids International is an entirely volunteer run, not for profit, non-government development organisation. In everything that we do, our primary goal is empowerment – to provide support to local communities that will help them to help themselves. We achieve this in three ways:
Best practice quality of care for orphaned and disadvantaged children
Partnering with globally recognised leaders who share our passion for providing children with the best possible Kickstart in life.
Financial sustainability
Utilising a profit for purpose model, we provide local communities with income streams to fund the operations of social projects.
Environmental sustainability
Accessing technologies and approaches that ensure sustainable consumption of food, energy and water.
