Overview
Peter Kaldor is taking on the ‘I'm Still Standing Sydney’ Backyard Ultramarathon on Saturday, 15th March at Heffron Park, Sydney. This endurance event challenges runners to complete a 6.7km loop every hour-until only one remains! Peter has known James Woodward, the founder of Kickstart Kids International, for over 10 years and has seen his incredible dedication to supporting vulnerable children, women, and communities in Kenya. Peter is raising funds and awareness for this amazing work—and he needs your help!
How can you support Peter? Your sponsorship will motivate him to keep running and help kickstart Kids continue its pioneering work in Kenya. Last year Peter managed 30 loops or just over 200kms, whilst the winner did 37 loops. Can you help inspire him to do even better this year? To help keep motivated as he prepares for the Ultramarathon, Peter is asking you to make your pledge below based on the three sponsorship categories i.e. Go Crazy Kaldor!, No Pain...No Gain, Don't be a WHIMP! All you need to do is pick a sponsorship level.... and pledge TODAY! Your pledges will incentivise him to get out of the chair each hour and start another lap! It is YOUR support that will spur him on to keep going!
MAKE A PLEDGE
Once the marathon is underway...we will let you know how to make good your pledge based on Peter's milestones! 100% of your donations to Kickstart Kids International from anywhere in the world go directly to supporting Olturoto Children's Village in Kenya. Donations are tax deductible in Australia.
