To enable our supporters in Belgium to donate towards our work in Kenya, Kickstart Kids International (UK) has an arrangement in place with King Baudouin Foundation through Transnational Giving Europe. This arrangement enables Belgian donors to receive tax attestation on donations over €40. The process for donating is outlined below. Our partnership arrangement Transnational Giving Europe (“TGE”) covers 16 countries and is at a European level the only existing practical solution to support a beneficiary located in a foreign country with all the tax advantages in the country of residence of the donor. Kickstart’s Belgian donors can give their gifts to TGE’s Belgian partner, King Baudouin Foundation, a registered tax deductible charity in Belgium that will transfer the gift to the Kickstart Kids International (UK) and provide all the national fiscal advantages to the donor. For confirmation of King Baudouin Foundation’s tax deductibility, please click here. More than 350 prestigious organisations and 6,200 donors are using TGE and around €7 million was channelled through TGE in 2012.
