Kickstart founder speaks at industry event

James Woodward, Kickstart Kids International’s founder, was the guest speaker at the Institute of Chartered Accountants’ graduation ceremony at the Sydney Hilton Hotel in December. James was chosen for this prestigious opportunity because of his own inspiring background having completed his Chartered Accountant qualification in 2010 while working full time and establishing Kickstart Kids International. His story demonstrates what is possible for those undertaking the program and encourages other young industry professionals to become involved with their community. Ian Rodrigues FCA, NSW Chair, said that James ‘encouraged other young members to look at how they can contribute not only to their profession but to the community around them, and I congratulate James on his outstanding initiatives and wish him well.’ James attributes the knowledge gained from the Chartered Accountant’s program to part of the success of running Kickstart Kids International and of course with his professional career at KPMG.
